【 Hualien Taroko George Day Tour 】

Itinerary (Depart at 9:00) : Qingshui Cliff > Changchun (Eternal Spring) Shrine > Cihmu Bridge (The Bridge of the Kind Mother/Loving Mother Bridge) > Shakadang Trail > Taroko National Park East Entrance Arch Gate > Chihsingtan (Seven Star Lake) > Return to Dong Hwa Uni's Night Market or Hotel

< Qingshui Cliff >
Situated between Heren and Chongde on the Su-Hua Highway, Qingshui Cliff is a big formed by Chongde, Qingshui and Heping mountain coastal cliffs. Creating a magnificent scene, it stretches more than 21km and rises vertically from the Pacific Ocean. The cliff facing the sea is while driving a car between cliff and the boundless ocean you will feel like you are flying.




< Changchun (Eternal Spring) Shrine >
Changchun Shrine was established to commemorate the crew which dereliction of the duty of open up the Central Cross-Island Highway. It stands in the green valley, and the waterfall flows through downward, forming a beautiful scenery.


< Cihmu Bridge (The Bridge of the Kind Mother/Loving Mother Bridge) >
Cihmu Bridge is located about one kilometer east of the green water with a beautiful red bridge with white marble on the guardrail and a pair of white large stone lions at the entrance and end of the bridge. At the bridge where you have the beautiful view of the starked marble.


< Shakadang Trail >
The Shakadang Trail was built at the end of the Japanese colonial period and has a total length of about 4.1 km. It has a viewing platform across the entire line, with spectacular canyons, clear streams and beautiful rock folds. Because of the low sand content, after the sandstone stream or typhoon still can keep the stream clear.


< Central Cross-Island Highway/East and West Cross-Island Highway >
The Central Cross-Island Highway is the Taroko Archway. The archway marked the excavation of Taiwan East-West Cross Island Highway. It is a symbol of our ancestors’ toiling for building the highway. Moreover, the archway is constructed in the style of Chinese northern palace, which is very rare on the island.


< Chihsingtan > (Seven Star Lake)
"Chihsingtan is a curved bay. It is located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, north of Hualien. Chihsingtan has a rich natural and humanistic landscapes, where you can have a view of Qingshui cliffs. Also, a good place for surfing rocks.
